Our Websites: Vist And Check Out For Yourself

newswatch.in is our flagship project.

newswatch.in

newswatch.in is an online monitor of the news industry and the journalism profession. The site was launched on August 1, 2005. newswatch.in, to borrow a worn-out dotgone cliche, is a portal. To steal another hackneyed phrase from the zillions who are quoted day in and out, we are "different". newswatch.in is a website which provides news (and occasionally, views) about what is pertinent to newspeople.

Broadly speaking, newswatch.in is indeed a media site. But we desist from dubbing ourselves "media people". Even advertising and PR professionals are mediapersons. We deal with journalists, journalism, and what is of immediate relevance for journalists. To be specific still, we deal primarily with the news media.

WildlifeWatch

WildlifeWatch is an experimental, not-for-profit site. WildlifeWatch was created with one express intention in mind — to collate and disseminate information pertaining to Indian wildlife and forests. The WildlifeWatch site, like newswatch.in runs solely and extensively on a Drupal platform. WildlifeWatch is meant to bolster the efforts of wildlife scientists and activists working in the field. The philosophy behind the site is simple: you cannot even think of saving Indian wildlife without staying informed about what is happening. And at the rate at which species both in India and the world over are depleting, it is imperative that you stay informed.

BondUnlimited

BondUnlimited is another experimental site, that has just been bought over by newswatch.in. BondUnlimited now runs on a WordPress platform and serves as a classic example of how an online encyclopaedia of any given subject can be created using elementary blogging tools. BondUnlimited itself is an A-Z of James Bond novels and films, and is growing daily in terms of website traffic. Almost all the content has been extracted has been extracted from sources licensed under the GNU Free Documentation License.
